Changed my Life

Beyond Expectations, Perfect Fit and Amazing experience.
Working with Ephraim on my Fingy, was the most positive experience from start to finish. I was blown away by the personal attention, care and concern given to me by my consultant and his expertise. Ephraim was extremely attentive to my individualized requests, he checked in with me throughout the process, always aiming for my satisfaction. Ephraim took his time, adjusting my device until I was happy with the fit and functionality. I ended up with a product that I am more than happy with. I get tons of use out of my Fingy and I love it. Ephraim and his expertise creating a superior product coupled with his compassion and customer service make this a highly recommended and totally worth it purchase.

Just What I Needed!

Day One
Receive my Fingy on today (6/30) and the anticipation was almost comparable to Christmas morning. Unboxed it as soon as I returned to my vehicle after getting the daily mail. The packaging was a solid cardboard box in a mailing envelope and the device itself was packaged in a bubble-wrap bag.

The device appears solidly constructed and is appealing to the eye. The tip, as promised, had a whitish silicone fingertip covering that did not detract from the aesthetics but gave it a nice two-toned look. When I slipped it on the amputated finger, it was like putting on a custom-made glove (finger)! It snuggly gripped my finger with only a modicum of play (not enough room and/or designed to allow my wedding band but the right-hand ring finger not does that job! LOL). It was comfortable and felt natural from the moment I put it on my hand.

The flexing seemed natural and only improved upon wearing the device. Initially there was a bit of “discomfort” as it ever so slightly rubbed my pinkie and middle finger but that was very quickly overcome with an hour or two. The unit is a bit warm on a muggy and warm day but going from a “naked” finger to a partially enclosed covering that is to be expected.

My hand and brain were to say the least startled! When I lost my fingertip there was an adjustment period where depth and touch needed to be retrained with the new situation of a shortened finger. Very quickly with the Fingy though it felt comfortable and “normal” gripping the steering wheel, carrying bags of groceries, putting my new fingertip on a table, and myriad other tasks that one takes for granted with a conventional compliment of fingers.

Really not knowing what to expect upon getting the device, this continued to amaze me throughout the day. For some reason, I figured there would be a prolonged break-in and adjustment period, but the device felt comfortable, natural, and a part of my finger within a very short time.

My main reason for getting the device was to be able to able to reach chords on my ukuleles that I have not been able to do because of the shortened digit. Attemping to play the ukulele has helped keep flexibility and feeling in my finger (great therapy). After only a few hours with the device, I can reach chords that were beyond my grasp (doesn’t mean I can play them yet!).

On the flip side, I am having a bit of difficulty playing chords that I was able to play with the shortened finger. I am guessing muscle memory has a lot to do with that because now the finger is more “life-like” in size. Also, there is an angle on the “fingertip” on the device that I am not used to yet. I am hoping that with time, I will adjust to the new dimensions of my finger but if any resizing were to need to be done it would be for this reason.
Thus far, I am very pleased and excited to continue getting “normalcy” back with my finger and hand. Thak you for this great product. I will keep you informed as to whether a resizing/shaping of the device is necessary.

Update (7/7)

So, after using the Fingy for a week, I found that I needed to have a few adjustments made for my situation. I contacted Ephraim by email and explained my situation; he reiterated my requests to make sure that he had the correct information and edits. Once that was taken care of, he said I should receive the updated Fingy ASAP.

One week later (7/14)

The new Fingy arrived! All my concerns were addressed and taken care of in the new device. Tried playing my ukulele and I’ll be darned; I can reach chords I was having difficulty reaching with the “short ring finger” and I could also still hit the chords that I already could play (before using the device) without my fingers getting entangled with the Fingy!

This is AWESOME! Thank you very much. Customer service is top-notch, the product is crafted of solid material and very well mad as well as very comfortable (at least in my case!). If anyone is considering getting a Fingy stop considering and JUST DO IT!

Excellent service and perfect prosthetic

The first prosthetic I purchased was a little too big because when I sent the photo, my finger was still swollen. Months later, the support team called to check if I had adapted, and I mentioned the issue. To my surprise, they promptly sent me another prosthetic in a smaller size and this one fits perfectly.

Special thanks to Ephrain for his support and for making the effort to communicate with me in Portuguese. Excellent service and care that truly make a difference

A Game-Changer for Everyday Tasks!

It's been a life-changer for me, especially at work. I feel way more confident typing and doing everyday stuff. It's made a big difference in how productive and comfy I am daily.

Customer support is great. My first one was a bit small, but they fixed it remotely with just some pics. Their system, using a hand image and a coin, is precise and very convenient. Shipped fast, they answer everything, and even sent free experimental add-ons like anti-slip tips.

Very happy with it!
