The Fingy

As anyone who's had an injury knows, recovery is a journey. I went through the normal channels looking for a prosthetic device that could not only support the partial loss of my middle finger but could also help me play guitar again. It was a tall ask and I did a ton of research. There was one device I found that showed some potential but it was over $12k and my insurance denied it. Then I found Fingy3d and Ephraim. He was so great to work with and he genuinely wanted to help. He went through several iterations to find the right size to try and help me accomplish what I thought I would never be able to. Everything was fast and friendly. I am so happy that I found this device. And even if it hadn't been able to help me play guitar I still would have kept it because it's such a great solution. My grip is better. I can type with it, and I feel good wearing it in public. Most people just assume I sprained my finger and am wearing some kind of fancy brace, which is nice because sometimes you don't want to tell the whole story. Bottom line, this device and Ephraim are amazing and I feel incredibly lucky to have found them both.
